New Orleans Cheesesteak House was born from the idea that we had to offer a different product and at a fair price. Initially we had some problems while finding good suppliers for our products, but gradually we learned, and today we can offer what we had imagined from the beginning.

Could you describe a bit about your local community?

In Colombia, there are many types of customers. Some of them seek quality beyond what it costs, while others prefer cheaper things even if they must sacrifice some quality. In the company, we mix the preferences of these customers, as we offer high quality products at a good price. This is something that rarely can be seen, as many other restaurants offer it, but few actually do.

How did you find Loyverse POS and why would you recommend Loyverse POS to other retailers like you?

When we started the company, we knew we’d need a food service POS, in order to have control over our sales. This was essential to meet our income and our expenses. We look at some Internet services, preferably free, and Loyverse free POS appeared. This is an excellent POS system with a super useful design, excellent maintenance, and features that have lead us to have recognizable statistics in sales, in our business.

What is the goal for your business and what are your plans to achieve this goal?

We want to be a place of fast food recognized locally, with large numbers of customers and an enthusiastic and active community. To achieve this, daily we try to retain the greatest number of potential customers, offering excellent discounts and different offers that make them want to return.

Do you have any advice for retailers such as yourself? -E.g. Something that you wish you had known earlier.

At the beginning you will not sell much, that’s something that cost us a lot to understand. It is important to be patient and persistent. Slowly customers will arrive and will recommend your product to more people. If I had known this at the beginning, I would have avoided some moments of uncertainty and doubt about the business.
